More Success Stories
Duff Brenna, our current prose judge for Fugue’s 2013 Annual Writing Contest, recently notified us that several of his books have won prizes from the 2013 Next Generation Indie Book Awards his collection of short stories, Minnesota Memoirs, won first prize for Best Short Story Collection and his memoir, Murdering the Mom, was named a Finalist in General Non-Fiction. Duff was also awarded 2nd place as a Grand Prize Winner. That’s three Indie awards in all. The 2013 Next Generation Indie Book Awards is the largest not-for-profit awards program in the country for independent publishers. Let’s say congratulations to Duff! Multiple awards in multiple genres! Way to go. And Fugue owes Duff a personal debt of thanks for reading all the prose contest submissions this year. He’s currently in the process of selecting a winner.
