Artist statement: “I consider these visual poems because collaging gives me a way to worldbuild on the page without words. My collages are landscapes with self-sufficient narratives, and I try to endow objects with motive and subjectivity through their coherence with and transfiguration into other objects. These pieces stand alone, but I enjoy meshing them into sequences to reveal rhythms and repetitions that suggest a greater plan, a hidden landscape that underpins, contains, and contextualizes the smaller, separate ones."
